4 years ago today I said yes. Like many other brave men and women all across the country. Like many other men and women that you walk past everyday and have no clue. Like many other men and women who have sacrificed as much as I have and most have sacrificed much more. Time away from home, birthday, holidays, weddings, births, first steps, and even as far as life. Like many others who give in hope for safety for people we never have and never will meet. Like many others who said yes 100 years ago for WWI to protect simple right of thier brothers. Like many others who said yes 60 years ago for Vietnam not knowing they would come home to be hated, mistreated, and pushed to the side. Like many others who requested to reenlist when were attacked on our own soil 17 years ago with 9/11. I said yes like many others who had no clue of the sacrifice but would still do it all over again. So to you I say thank you for saying yes. And those who didn't make sure we appreciate the 364 other days that aren't like many others. Don't just let this holiday mark the only day we recognize. Thank you Thank you Thank you.
